Workforce Housing: Springboard to Action Workgroup to Meet
At its first meeting, a working group drawn from participants in the Springboard to Action conference, decided to move forward with developing a publication to focus on the workforce housing issue. The first issue will feature key voices in the workforce housing arena, emerging solutions in Southern Nevada, and provide a platform for interested advertisers to reach an important target market.
The work group will also be moving to identify and feature outstanding examples of private/public partnerships that can serve as models or provide ideas to others for helping to solve the workforce housing shortage.
The group will meet again on September 11 , 3:00-5:00 P.M. at the Nevada State Education Association, 3511 E. Harmon Ave.. There is plenty of room for more participants. If you are interested in attending, please contact us at ken@homemeansnv.com.
